The Vintage Racing League is the leading online community for people who love racing and cars. Its free to join.
Members connect with people that share a love of specific marques or types of cars (e.g. Vintage, Historic, Classic, Antique,Formula Ford, Can-Am, Trans-Am, GT and/or Historic Formula One cars).
The VRL helps members find difficult to locate parts, restoration resources, race events and car clubs in your area.
You can exchange pictures and race videos and find "same car soulmates".
I look forward to seeing some of your vintage race video's.
FYI - I'm the co-founder of The Vintage Racing League.
I owned and raced a 1975 Crossle Formula Ford. I currently own and race a 1980 March Formula Atlantic and intend to rebuild and race a 1977 Shadow DN8 F1 car.
I race with CVAR in the Southwest.
I live in Dallas.
VRL Factoids:
An estimated 4 million people in the USA own Vintage, Historic, Classic and Antique cars (10 million world-wide).
The USA is home to 79 million Baby Boomers. Every day, 50,000 retire.
There are 27 Vintage Race Clubs in the US that stage an estimated 170 events per year.
Today, approximately 30,000 members in the 27 Clubs race Vintage cars.
We want to get more people into Vintage racing and a primary purpose of this site is dedicated to that goal.
Even if people do not race, they are welcome to attend events and learn more about the compelling nature of motorsports and it's history..
About: WWW.THEVRL.COM
We created a place where owners and lovers of vintage, historic, classic and antique cars could find each other, exchange pictures, videos and information about how to fix, restore, and race cars.
Ask your friends to join the Vintage Racing League @ www.thevrl.com.
Feel free to create new groups, post pictures for us all to share and share the site with your friends.
Welcome to the Vintage Racing League.
Warmest regards - Stephen Page

Thanks for the warm welcome. It may take me a while to learn how to navigate your fine site but I will keep working at it. You mentionesd that you had a good friend with a Tiger and I wonder who that might be? Have been around the Tiger community for about 35 year and have had a chance to meet many owners over the years. Again thanks for what should be an exciting site.
I did not take that photo, I got it from a retired engineer at Chrysler, the car is now in Jay Leno's collection (I think) Chrysler had three cars and that car in the photograph was the only one running in the early 90's when it was taken.
Saturday sounds great as I may not be there in time for friday, unless the Mini race is on then, which I want to see. Will I be allowed into the Press Center ? perhaps you can put my name down. I was raised in London also from 1951 - 1962 and am rather conservative and have always been a bit wary of hugging men !
We will talk before Goodwood.
Kind regards
Conor
Hey Stephen!
I finally came up with a really great idea that I'm pretty excited about-- it involves online representation for upcoming wakeboard manufacturers as well as independent guys who shape wake surfboards. I'm meeting with the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at A&M next week to solicit some more advice :) I'm sure you'll be hearing from me soon!
Thank you for being on the show! I like to think Pit Pass USA covers more than just the major racing series. Keep me posted on news items and even accomplishments of some of your members on the track!

Hi Stephen, Thanks for the welcome. I hope to get some photos posted soon. I have a 54 TR 3 I hope to rally, or race someday. Your club looks fun. Daniel Riess
Hi thanks for the freindship --hands across the sea !--liked the Allard pic --worked on one about 10 years ago I beleive it had a Studibaker Hawk supercharged engine in it- -did some work on the De-Dion suspension if Iremember right-went like stink.Have just been working on a British Salmson engine /the owner got this chap to rebuild it but he had problems at home .thats where I came in //to puzzle out where all the bits fitted together.Anyway the engine is very tight on its white metal bearings-will have to scrape them in when I go back--interesting engine though -twin cam 1 & a half litre engine hemi head with inclined valves and it is as rare as Do Do,s teeth. Well Loton Parks nearly on us and I haven;t got the car ready yet.Have a good week .Brian
Hi Stephen,
I went on to your site because you had sent an email that reached me and I thought that perhaps the person I sold my '52TD to - Paul J. Henchcliffe might show up as a member of your club -- unfortunately he did not in my search of you site.
So that's that. Thanks for your welcome, but since I no longer have the car I going to say farewell. Enjoy your cars. Mason
Stephen, thanks for the welcome. I hope to spend as much time on your site as my time allows. I am sure I will learn a lot.

Hi Stephen,
I have joined the Vintage Racing League to learn more about vintage racinmg in the US as I am hoping to bring my Lola over in 2011 to race as some ofthe vintage events.
One thing I have had difficulties with is the photo that appeared on my profile site. The Porsche shot was uploaded by mistake when it should have been my Lola.
Is that an admin contact that can be contacted to guide me through the process to correct the error.
Stephen, Bryson again. we did hoodwood three years ago...took the Mv 500/3. What an incredible event. all car buffs should make the 31 on the bucket list.. will be a contributor...bryson, laguna motorsports
Hi Stephen, very nice to meet you also. Am out of town this weekend but will be able to spend some time looking at this in the next week. All your emails went to spam filter, hopefully we have opened that. Best, charles
Hey Stephen! Hope you are having a great day. I was wondering if you have ever gone to mexico for La Carrera or know somebody who has? Very excited about getting into vintage racing, but I have to wait a little while for the economy to improve. Take care and thanks.
Many thanks for the kind welcome, Steven. An interesting place you have here... hope to add useful content and look forward to participating both online and on track.
Stephen, all mail still going to junk filter which I don't review very carefully. This seems to be a major problem for making this site useful as a communications tool. FYI. Charles
Just wanted to touch base with you. I sent you an email via outlook but my outlook was down all morning so I just wanted to make sure you receive it!
I hope you had a good weekend!
Thank you very much! My friend Jack invited me to join your group and I look forward to being part of what appears to be a very active and passionate group! :)
I can ask I wasnt at work on Wednesday but I can ask around. I can see if anyone has anything.. Send me your phone number to my email nick@texasdrivingexperience.com
Thanks for your welcome and your kind words. I've now updated my info and set up a Group for www.dep-o.co.uk.
Hopefully, this will help to increase the magazine's readership in the USA! We're now just over one year old and are in the midst of tweaking it to improve it further and to broaden its appeal.
Good morning Stephen. Thanks for the welcome.
I will mention your club and website to our club during the December meeting.
Are all of your racers circle track, or do you have some drag racers on board?
Wow! Thanks very much. Anything you can do to help him would be appreciated beyond words. If anyone truly deserves a motorsports career, it's Jonathan.
I also want to say again how cool your site is! I'll definitely pass the word to VSCCA people and figure out what else I can contribute.
Stephen, I was great to meet you at TWS this past weekend. Thanks for all you are doing and have done for vintage racing. Hope to see you at future CVAR events, I'll try not to stir up so much controversy next time.
