Profile Information:

About Me:
I bought my first Alfa in 1970, and ran an Alfa vintage parts shop since then, expanding into Alfas Unlimited, a vintage Alfa racing and restoration shop in Norfolk, Connecticut. I've been a member of VSCCA and other groups for thirty-something years. We raced nationally and internationally for years. Additionally I was a staff writer and Northeast Editor for Victory Lane Magazine. Now my focus is on the racing career of my son, Jonathan Goring, who, at only 19, is a two-time National Champion in open and closed-wheel sportscar racing.
What car(s) do you own?
The 1957 Sebring class winning Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, a 1967 Alfa Giulia GTV coupe, a 1956 Alfa Giulietta Spider (owned since 1973) and a 1985 Alfa GTV6.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Help my son's racing career. See my old friends at races.
What clubs do you belong to?
VSCCA
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I would like to see my son carry on our racing passion as a professional driver for a major team in ALMS or other series. He has incredible driving talent and in addition he is a gifted coach, data analyst and great communicator. His last national championship in IMSA Lites was won with numerous track records and pole positions at every race, as well as the most wins in the year by any previous competitor. He is presently working with his team to develop a sponsor for the 2010 ALMS effort, and would welcome discussions with company principals interested in advertising to an internationally televised market.

    Hi Susan
Your son looks like he deserves it!
Post his in-car videos to the site and we'll fearure the best one.
Embed a video into his group.
The best way you can help us is to build a Group for your business and invite your friends and customers to join.
    Many thanks again - Stephen
