I'm a filmmaker and huge vintage car enthusiast.
I started out as art director in New York and turned from creative director to director.
Below is my very first experimental car racing music vide short that I shot with wind-up Bolex 16mm film camera's at the very first LeMans Classic.
In the nineties I directed commercials and worked around the globe in some 20 odd countries. I also shot music videos. This is one of them:
Since the start of the new millennium I work as a journalist, international consultant for television and as TV director/producer for networks such as the German ZDF TV, the US New York Times TV and the Discovery Network.
As a photographer I naturally specialized in capturing historic racing automobiles.
I just finished shooting "Season II" of the "GT Racer" TV series that will air worldwide as of May this year. In the US on HD Theater (from the Discovery Network) and the rest of the world on DiscoveryHD International.
The HD Theater premier is at 8:00PM Friday night, Labor Day Weekend. Don't miss it.

Sadly no luck with the doc, as you said I think we were sadly too late, but we'll have plenty of fun all the same - can't believe it's only a matter of weeks away now :)
