The Vintage Racing League is the leading online community for people who love racing and cars. Its free to join.
Members connect with people that share a love of specific marques or types of cars (e.g. Vintage, Historic, Classic, Antique,Formula Ford, Can-Am, Trans-Am, GT and/or Historic Formula One cars).
The VRL helps members find difficult to locate parts, restoration resources, race events and car clubs in your area.
You can exchange pictures and race videos and find "same car soulmates".
I look forward to seeing some of your vintage race video's.
FYI - I'm the co-founder of The Vintage Racing League.
I owned and raced a 1975 Crossle Formula Ford. I currently own and race a 1980 March Formula Atlantic and intend to rebuild and race a 1977 Shadow DN8 F1 car.
I race with CVAR in the Southwest.
I live in Dallas.
VRL Factoids:
An estimated 4 million people in the USA own Vintage, Historic, Classic and Antique cars (10 million world-wide).
The USA is home to 79 million Baby Boomers. Every day, 50,000 retire.
There are 27 Vintage Race Clubs in the US that stage an estimated 170 events per year.
Today, approximately 30,000 members in the 27 Clubs race Vintage cars.
We want to get more people into Vintage racing and a primary purpose of this site is dedicated to that goal.
Even if people do not race, they are welcome to attend events and learn more about the compelling nature of motorsports and it's history..
About: WWW.THEVRL.COM
We created a place where owners and lovers of vintage, historic, classic and antique cars could find each other, exchange pictures, videos and information about how to fix, restore, and race cars.

Hi Stephen,
Actually today turned out to not be a ideal day to have you walk me through the process of inviting others. May I call you Friday morning?
Have a great day,
Amber
Hi Stephen....Thanks for the welcome. When I lived in PA, I used to go to Watkins Glen for the SVRA weekend. I love the older cars. Much more character than the new ones. Now I have to get down to you guys and check out your rides. I'm going to try to update my bio with a picture of the Cobra. Hope I don't have the same trouble Robert had. Right now the barn is calling. Keep motoring......Chip
Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the nice comment to Philip Selkirk's page. Of course it is no coincident that he arrived here on the VRL as him and me go way back - 22 years to be exact.
Have a most wonderful weekend
Alexander
Thank you for cordial invitation.
First I uploaded a video of european classic car regularity rally. Maybe it will interest the members of this site-club.
Hi Stephen,
I am a recent joiner and really enjoy the site. Some great photos and information. However I just received an e-mail from one of our members that had nothing to do with autos. I do not expect to be sent political mails here. I hope this does not happen again. I also realize that you probably have no control over this, too bad.
Thanks Dan
Hi Staphen,
Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
It's really great to find such a great site all about my passion.
I look forward to seeing pics of the DN8, is it early or late in terms of its technical radiator and body layout etc.
Thanks again and I really look forward to learning from all the other guys.
Regards,
Mark
Steve: Thanks for the info. I owned a 308gt4 back in early 1980's. I am considering a 330 GT 2+2 or 365 GT 2+2--not a racing car--but one to drive for weekends, etc. Any experience with either of these--I am in the "gathering facts" stage for now.
I'm looking for something with as little "aggrevation factor" as possible--as I had much with the 308 GT4 which I bought new
back in 1980. On that one--the 2 best days were.....
I think you know the rest.
Stephen,
Thanks for the welcome. Looks like a great site. Haven't had a chance to explore it in depth yet. Will update profile as soon as I get a chance.
Best Regards,
Brian Cullingford.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I actually found your site through the Ning network. Last summer I attended "Classics on the James" in Richmond VA and have many many nice photos of classic European cars that my friends and family couldn't care less about so I hope some will be of interest here.

Hi Stephen, I have a question... I'm selling my Racecar business for $100,000 and wanted to know how I might post it on this site. The price is for 6 cars, spares, teh website ect. As it turns out I have a big conflict with a project in Colorado and need to sell or close the business. Any ideas?
Hi Stephen
Sorry that I have not got back to you but work has been busy.
Thanks for inviting me and I will update my profile in next day or two.
Andrea
Stephen, Thank you for including me. I know I'm a bit behind in the profile, but I promise to get on it soon. My father attended races from the late 50's until closing at Bridgehampton, and continued with Watkins Glen until 2003, and as a hobby, systematically attempted to photograph every car entered -- every race. He would start shooting at practice because, as he put it, you never know if the car will make it". I went to races since I was born (1965)and recall his quests! He's since passed and I am having the whole collection all cataloged electronically (must be 2,000 images). Once it is ready, or at least part of it, I am looking forward to sharing them with the group.
Hi Stevephen,
many thanks for your welcoming comments. I look forward to joining up with the various marque interest groups. At last the weather is becoming more classic friendly over here so am looking forward to some racing action soon.
I am way late in responding. Thanks for the welcome. I have not had time to do much of anything in the fun area in too long. I will, hopefully, be doodling with and setting up my profile in the next two to three weeks after things (hopefully) settle down up here.
By the way - I couldn't help but notice the Ferrari 330 P4 picture or maybe video on this site - I couldn't figure out who the owner was. It is a beautiful car and a fantasy of mine that will remain unrealized...however there is a company that makes a stunning replica of this car and I have been looking at them for about a year now with an eye to buying one. If one of our members has got one I'd like to hear about their experience. Of course if the picture I saw is of an actual 330 P4...then never mind and no insult intended. :o)
Thanks for the comment Steve. My favorite Mario story is the year he crashed or broke 6 or 7 vehicles trying to win the Championship. The next year the rules were changed to count only the car you started not the one you finished in. Great site, keep up the good work!!!
hi Stephen............thanks for the Comments on my Road Atlanta Titan Mk6A photo!!
this was shot by Hal Crocker of Motor Racing Graphics out of Atlanta 20 May 1973. I had rented this car from "motley" who lived in Charlotte, while the Winkelmanns' motor was being freshened. Great Ford ride for sure!!
Hi Stephen
I was wondering if you could email me my membership number I haven't received it in the mail yet. I am going to carlisle next week and would like to purchase the yearly entry on line but i need the number. When I have a little more time i will update my site with pictures. Thanks Graz
