About Me:
The Vintage Racing League is the leading online community for people who love racing and cars. Its free to join.
Members connect with people that share a love of specific marques or types of cars (e.g. Vintage, Historic, Classic, Antique,Formula Ford, Can-Am, Trans-Am, GT and/or Historic Formula One cars).
The VRL helps members find difficult to locate parts, restoration resources, race events and car clubs in your area.
You can exchange pictures and race videos and find "same car soulmates".
I look forward to seeing some of your vintage race video's.
FYI - I'm the co-founder of The Vintage Racing League.
I owned and raced a 1975 Crossle Formula Ford. I currently own and race a 1980 March Formula Atlantic and intend to rebuild and race a 1977 Shadow DN8 F1 car.
I race with CVAR in the Southwest.
I live in Dallas.
VRL Factoids:
An estimated 4 million people in the USA own Vintage, Historic, Classic and Antique cars (10 million world-wide).
The USA is home to 79 million Baby Boomers. Every day, 50,000 retire.
There are 27 Vintage Race Clubs in the US that stage an estimated 170 events per year.
Today, approximately 30,000 members in the 27 Clubs race Vintage cars.
We want to get more people into Vintage racing and a primary purpose of this site is dedicated to that goal.
Even if people do not race, they are welcome to attend events and learn more about the compelling nature of motorsports and it's history..

About: WWW.THEVRL.COM

Great site. Especially liked the old footage of the McLarens etc. Being a kiwi I have a soft spot them and of course the guys that drove them. My brother who still lives in New Zealand races a Reynard Formula Foed and one of his close friends (Walt) was Bruce McLaren's mechanic for many years and traveled with him all over the world. I remeber as a kid watching Jim Clark, Denny Hulme, Graham Hill, Yocken Rindt (?), Pedro Rodriquez and many more run at our home track Teretonga. What days those were. Anyway, thanks for the invite and I can see this will be fun to be a member of.

    Hi Stephen,

    many thanks.
I have joined to offer your member the oppurtunity to source some very rare and unusual cars from japan. We have garages there and in the Uk but we also ship worldwide. It is often the case people hear or know of cars in difficult places to access or may possibly be unsure or not confident to buy blind from foreign shores. We remove all that uncertanty.

We have access to Porsche 356 and 550 replicas as well as all Japanese and many European classics. If anyone is interested we are always here and always offer our help. Take a moment to explore our website, it is very large and this represents only a small fraction of whats available,

    Regards
    Algy

The photo of Frank Campbell standing in the cockpit of his Elva, taken at the 1958 RA 500, shows a side fuel filler, and was the main clue to his one time ownership of the car. Berdie Martine wrote to tell me he owned the car the '57 and sold it to Campbell. Love the history of these old racecars..... Bob

    Hi Stephen,

I was wondering if you know if there is a way to post photos and/or albums to Group pages that we create? I know we can put photos in discusion forums, etc. but what I would like to do is to have a collection of photo albums under that particular Group for the group members to post to. I think it would make things a little easier to keep track of in these Group forums.

    Cheers,
    Alan Blair
