Thanks Joseph. Maybe I'll give that a try in off season. As you have already found out, a lot of wind pressure build up in the front end. I'm headed to Daytona in a couple of weeks for the HSR Continentals. Wish me good luck.

    Well,
Back from Dayton and the Spider and driver lived to tell about it. First day a little unnerving but by Sunday, I didn't want to stop. That's just a lot of laps at a full 7000RPM. Hope you get to do it one day if you haven't already.

I've had my license since 2003. Went to SCCA run driver's school. They are by far the best in my opinion. Tons of track time for almost no money. Just beware the damn Miatas.
As you know, when practicing and qualifying at an HSR event, the group2 and group3 cars run together. Let me tell you how humbling it is to be on the back straight at Daytona, wide open and headed for the bus stop when a Jag goes by at better than 150 mph. And, because of the wall and the punch bowl affect of the track, everything is really, really load. It was pure heaven. Stay in touch.
