    Tim, I may try to run Laguna Seca with the SCCA in their spring Historic event, if the price of diesel stays affordable, and the dates don't fall on the RMVR drivers schools dates. I notice you drive a nice looking Italian car. Ralph

    Tim - Chris from NJ here. I too race a fiat (an Abarth Assetto Corsa 695 with the VSCCA) but have a love of and own a couple of Alfas. The ignition switch in your 80's spider should be the same as my 74. Check out this link and you shouldn't have a problem replacing it. I think International Auto has the ignitions in stock right now. I just did a replacement for a friend's 77 spider and we bought the new one from IA for like $120 or so. Also consider replacing your ignition relay (that it on the Alfa BB also and you can get there from this link. Good luck and let me know if you have any problems. Chris the Link is:
