Good morning Stephen,
Thank you for your response. I must say that driving my J2X is an awesome experience. I try to drive it TO events, as much as possible, currently averaging some 6-7,000 miles each year. The ability to cruise at the 'upper-end' of the speed limit for 5-6 hours in a stretch, in comfort, without the stress associated with a 50 years old car, blows people away. And of course, I know of no other car on the highway that has such a high WOW-factor. So it is always a pleasure to take part in events (track, road or show) and let people reconnect with a real driving experience that is too often left out of our modern cars.
All of this said (you can tell I am passionate about the new J2X), I would certainly consider participating in key vintage events. As a great promoter of vintage events, I pleased to inject a bit of adrenalin into the crowd.
I look forward to learning about the key events that you mentioned and see if I can adjust my scheduled 'rendez-vous' so that I might participate. I am currently testing customer cars before delivery (always put 100-200 miles on) and will be on the road delivering in June/July. Hopefully, I can get some of my customers involved.
I can always be reached at 1-877-J2X-1953 ( 1-877-529-1953).
Roger
The photos you posted are terrific.
The car is spectacular.
The 27 VMC clubs produce 170 events in North America annually.
During 2009, we will produce 8 "high end" events for our Sponsors.
These will be perfect forums to showcase your car.
What's the best number to call you on ?
All the best - Stephen
