New to the racing scene in 2008! I camped at RA at the KIR summer of 2007 and after talking to guys in the paddock, 6 weeks later the Bug was sitting in my garage!

Great. You will really like HMRC. It's a great track for our small cars. Also, it has a nice atmosphere. Family owned and run. Feels like you are back in the '60's. Some of us dress in vintage attire for the sat. night dinner/party, so bring youre peace madalion or tweed jacket.
A very good friend of mine is restoring his old IMSA Bugeye sprite racer. Didn't make it to Mid-Ohio this year but hoping for 2009. Look forward to meeting you.

Thanks for the note. I have been having fun with the Bugeye. The Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association (www.pahillclimb.org) represents several SCCA regions and has an excellent grasp on time trial and hillclimb events. I may go wheel to wheel one of these days, probably with the VRG.
I am an ex-Chicogoan. In my youth I crewed for MWCSCC cars at Blackhawk Farms and Milwaukee. I am glad they reopened Milwaukee.
