A.W.E. Tuning Porsche 997.2 Crossover Pipes

Cross over pipes to delete factory center rear muffler on 2009 Porsche 997S with 3.8l DFI engine. Also works on 997 non-S model.

Factory muffler consists of a u-bend on each side inside a can with a shared void space. The u-bends are not optimal for making power, but the void space between them that they bleed sound into takes the edge off the engine tone. Our cross over pipes make a realistic 5hp and 5ftlbs torque as proven in literally dozens of dyno runs during development, while making the exhaust note slightly louder.

An affordable and relatively civilized way to make some power, drop 7.5lbs of weight, and make the engine sound more aggressive!
