USA colors?

What white and what blue are traditionally used on USA race cars in the past? I am thinking if painting my La carrera race car white with a blue stripe. Any thoughts on the design and width of the blue stripe traditionally used? thanks

Mac Powered 65 Chevelle to race La Carrera

'Mac Powered - 65 Chevelle; we have the body off the frame and beginning the suspension improvements. Video of the deconstuction coming soon. If there are any Mac or Apple enthusiasts out there our car will have a mini mac on board. Cheers'.

Anyone have a good source for such a frame? I want to use it as the platform for chevelle road race car.
