My Dad raced 1/4 mile dirt tracks in Central Mississippi back in the early 1960's. He raced a 1934 Ford, 5 window coupe with a flathead Ford motor. His old car was dismantled in 1968 and parked. In 2003 my Dad and I rebuilt it just as he raced it back in the day. It took 2 years to restore.
What car(s) do you own?
A 1/4 mile oval dirt track, 1934 Ford, 5 window coupe with a flathead Ford motor.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
This car was rebuilt just as she ran in the late 1950's and early 1960's. We do not race it for safety reasons. We take it to local car shows and race tracks for special races. We like to show the younger drivers of today what their Dad's and Granddad's drove back in the day.
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I collect Mississippi Racing History and post it on www.MissChicken.Com website. MS Racing History is in Shoe boxes all over the south. I'd like to take the information and pictures and put it where everyone can see it.

Thanks for the friend add. It was great to read about the Miss Chicken being resurrected and vintage raced. Gerry Dedonis "KSGerry"
