About Me:: I am an ex F1 race mechanic and have also spent more than 3 years professionally prepareing historic racing cars.
I am now a project planner at Redbull F1. I have worked on everything from current F1 cars to to historic Formula fords and things of beauty such as the V12 BRM but my favourites are the Can-Ams and sports cars of the 60's & 70's. One of my high points was winning with Fox Motorsport the 24 hours at paul Ricard in 1993. With Jean Blaton in his 4.7 litre GT40. We had spent the previous few months completely rebuilding and race prepping it and after a midnight shakedown through the Cambridgeshire fens it ran faultlessly straight out of the box. We also won 6 and 12 hour races at Spa and magny cour in in the same year. What a car that was.
