I've been a formula guy since age 13 reading Rob Walker's F1 reports in R&T. Acquired my Caldwell D9 in 1985 and have never looked back. I've vintage raced, autocrossed, hillclimbed, and even ran a 1/8 drag strip with it. I've made new friends all over the country through racing it. My favorite tracks are VIR, The Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point, and the Duryea Hillclimb. We live in northeastern North Carolina.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?

Great, I'm planning on doing Duryea in August. I've got several of the Historic 3 (H3) records up there on the PHA hills. We just did their Jefferson event a couple of weeks ago. Down here in the southeast we have a very fast Corvair running in the red Budweiser colors. BTW my first car was a '61 Vair.
Stan,
You're absolutely right. After spectating for the past 4 years, I decided to give it a try...it was my first hillclimb, and I had a blast. I'm planning on doing several more events of the Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association this summer.....with the next being the Pagoda event in Reading, PA later this month.
