Big fan of vintage racing, particularly anything Can-Am. Have been involved with TVR since 1976 when I bought my first one. Did some autocrossing but now enjoy being a spectator at all types of racing. Am president of TVR Car Club North America and own the only TVR parts business in the US.
What car(s) do you own?
In addition to two Maserati Mistrals, three Jaguars, and a multitude of other cars, I have owned 7 TVRs over the last 30 years, currently finishing the restoration of a "barn find" 1984 TVR 280i.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Go to vintage races, watch Formula 1, etc.
What clubs do you belong to?
TVR Car Club North America
TVR Car Club England
British Car Club of Southwest Virginia
Hey Marshall, Glad you found my 70 Glen Can Am photos, it was my first Can Am and only the third race I had been to. Watch out for more vintage race postings from me, especially Glen stuff. As soon as I scan in some new things I'll post them. Best, Rich
From time to time I think about acquring something like a 2500M for a restoration project. TVRs are really thin on the ground on the West Coast, but if I do find one it's good to know of a source for parts. I will bookmark your site and I may contact you for feedback if I find a car of interest.
Cheers,
Tom Escover
