I started racing in 1969 in an Austin Healey 3000 Mk.II. Proceed to Formula Vee in a Zink, Earned by 1st FIA license. Raced at Daytona Motorsports Speedway against the best Euro FV drivers, including Nicki Lauda. Back to production endurance racing. Switch to IMSA due to politics. Raced U2 and 2nd FIA license. Left the country. Raced in England. Joined BRSSC, BRDC, RAC and earned Full Grade FIA license. Super license and politics arrived. Raced Initial and 2nd/3rd seasons of Sports 2000. End of 2nd season ranked 5th. Left England.
Eventually arrived back in America with FIA Grade 3 license. Sold Uk property after several years and politics eventually caught up with FIA license. Now racing vintage but eclectic work schedule proves difficult to manage.

Formula 5000 May 16-17, Thunderhill Raceway with CSRG. Sounds as though they have a number of 5000s coming. Thunderhill should be a wonderful tack for a 5000 car. Hope to see you there.
Les, I checked with the owner of the Crossle 30 (the one in the photo to the left). He said he would be glad to rent the car to you at a reasonable price for the TWS school as long as you can cover any damage. We can do either a crewed weekend or non-crewed. Your call. Registration deadline is Feb 10th. Let me know......
So sorry to hear of your troubles, Louis. Hope you have the best possible resolution. I have some open wheel cars available. The next CVAR drivers school is this month at Texas World Speedway so we should plan quickly if you would like to run it. What class of car are you interested in?
Hi Louis. Looks like you have some marvelous cars. I raced a Lola T140 back in the early 70s and also worked with Michael Roe in Can Am in 84. The big Chevy engined cars are some of my favorites. I look forward to seeing yours one of these days.
