I really liked the workmanship on the head. Give yourself an 'attaboy'. Ended up with the timing at 101 and 108.5 with Bean's adjustable sprockets (what a God send). Robert is pleased as punch...It's really his Locor, but it will always be 'mine'...no matter what.
Had to cut the valve pockets a bit for intake clearance, Venolia made us a new set and I needed to reset valve lash after the head was torqued. Intakes were .002" to .005" and all the Ex were <.005...no big deal, I have a ton of lash pads. In. now all .006" and Ex. .008".
