My 1974 Lotus Europa Special was intended to be a show/demo car for an audio store I used to manage. But times and business changed and the car became a 100% weekend fun car.
But only after years of restoration with only a few minor changes from original. A few tweaks to the engine, converting from dual Strombergs to Weber DCOE 40's, cam change and some dress-up.
The interior was a disaster and much work needed to put it back in shape. The seat bolsters were restorable, but the cushions, walnut dash, door panels, and carpeting were destroyed from years of sitting under a tarp.
A true pleasure to show and tell today.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
