I am the Webmaster and Director of Timing & Scoring for the Northeast Corvair Council ("NECC"), which conducts high-speed track events for sports car enthusiasts. Our history goes back to 1974, when we conducted time trials for Corvairs at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut.
Corvairs? On a race track? You bet! We've been doing it more than thirty years!
But you don't need a Corvair to drive in our events. Several years ago, we opened up our track events to all other makes of cars. Our starting grid often includes Mazdas, Nissans, Porsches, Mustangs, Evos, Mini Coopers and more. At one event, we even had a race-prepared Yugo!
And so, you're invited to drive at our events, even if you don't own a Corvair!
What car(s) do you own?
1966 Corvair Monza Sport Coupe.
1994 Mazda MX-3
What clubs do you belong to?
Northeast Corvair Council (NECC)
