Greetings fellow poster collector and welcome to my April newsletter ! It has been an incredibly busy and productive Winter season. Scores of new and important posters have been added to most of the categories on the site's menu bar. We are in the midst of developing a mobile ap that will allow all hand-held devices full access. I'd like to draw your attention to the fine in-depth selection of major international racing events including: Monaco [ 1930, 1932, 1933, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1937 ], Rallye Monte Carlo [1930], LeMans [ 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1960, 1964, 1967 ], Mille Miglia [ 1931, 1935, 1938, 1940, 1951, 1954, 1956 ], Carrera Panamericana [ 1952, 1954 ], and Targa Florio [ 1962, 1965, 1968, 1971, 1974 ], as well as a fine group of Swiss hillclimb and racing posters. My selection of Porsche posters from the 356/Spyder era is without equal ! During the course of these past months, I have decided to focus my attention more and more into two main areas: Pre-War [1895 - 1950] and Porsche 356/Spyder era. I will be retaining many of the most important race event posters after this era, including Mille Miglia, LeMans, Carrera Panamericana, etc. Towards that end, many of the other posters will be sold to make way for fewer but more important ones. Please do contact me for anything that might be of interest. |
A reminder about Automobilia Monterey as this year is our 10th annual international expo featuring the finest automotive collectibles show in the US ! It will be held on Tuesday, August 14, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Wednesday, August 15, from 10 am to 7 pm; during Concours/Vintage Race week. If you love collectibles...this is THE show to attend ! Complete information is at: www.AutomobiliaMonterey.com For a good friend and client, I have been asked to sell his 30+ year collection of Porsche 356 and early/mid 911/912 literature. Collections of this depth and magnitude do not come up for sale, as they are normally broken up and sold off in pieces. Photos and a list are available upon request. Fiat 8V and Siata 208-S enthusiasts should please note that I have a particularly fine selection of literature, manuals, original commission artwork, tools, pins, etc. for sale. Photos and a list are available upon request.
