New photo workshop series takes students where only the Pros can go!
Cupertino CA,
Group f8 announced today the establishment of a new series of motorsports
photography workshops featuring historic racing cars. These new workshops will give students
the chance to shoot where only the Professionals can go, learn new techniques from the best in
the business while shooting some of the most historic racing cars in the world.
The series kicks off at the Historic Motor Sports Association (HMSA) March 23-24, 2013 club
event held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The second workshop will take place at le
Sommet des Legends, Mont-Tremblant, Canada, July 12-14, 2013.
The workshops consist of evening classroom instruction as well as on track shooting sessions
both days. Students will have full press credentials allowing them access to shooting areas
normally off limits to all but the professional press corps. Class size is limited to six students per
instructor.
The March 23-24 f/8 Motorsports Photography Workshop is filling up fast. This is your chance to
get input from top professionals on where to shoot, how to best utilize your equipment, how to
interact with track staff, and much more. You will be inside the fence with ‘hands on’ instruction
on improving your photographic skills.
