One of my great accomplishments was to register a sub-minute lap at Lime Rock in my modified Lotus 11/Alfa before Vintage racing came into being. An amazing car on that track, as you'd only shift between 3rd and 4th twice a lap, and only feather the throttle in the left hander.

Ah, the bravery of youth!
