I had a very pleasant experience this morning that I wanted to share with you (not that kind of experience!) It perfectly illustrates why you should be speaking to the right people when it comes to classic cars.
A couple of years ago, I had a few meetings with a client a E-Typr Jaguar. Unfortunately, for whatever reason I didn't win the business and he bought a cheaper vehicle to the one I suggested.
Now, like everyone else involved in business, I moved on to my other hot…

The question has come up asking when is a racecar considered vintage anyway? I am looking for what other folks think in this regard. A friend from the San Antonio area said it becomes vintage when it stops being competitive in whatever venue it races. That is a very interesting view. It has a lot of merit. I bet there are a lot of dust covered cars parked in storage of one sort or another that are very close to being scrapped. A car like that might get to the point of not having a good supply…

The '09 La Carrera Panamericana was sell out for the second year in a row with 107 entries. Given the world's economy, that was something of a surprise.
The race was a little more newsworthy because the brother of the president of Mexico participated in a vintage Alfa, and the owners of the big Mexican TV company, Televisa, were also competitors. Another entry of note was the "Leningrad Cowboys," a rock band from Finland, that was apparently retracing the steps of Pink Floyd, who…

The Historic Stock Car Racing Series,
www.hscrs.com, announces that it will continue to be the go-to organization where owners of authentic 1995 and older NASCAR and Winston Cup stock cars raced 'back in the day" can register and authenticate their 'rolling pieces of American racing history. Our members can then, if they choose to, compete in a respectful manner alongside similarly minded gentlemen and lady drivers.
