I'm a retired police officer that now owns and operates a Hot Rod Shop (we build street rods, hot rods, custom cars and race cars).
I've been into racing cars and hot rods since I was about 10 yrs. old and I did some Road Racing in the mid 70's campaigning first a 1967 Mercury Cougar GT 1 car and then a Brabham BT 29 Formula B.
I never lost my love for racing, it's just that finances and a family took presidence.
I'm looking to get back into racing in the next year or so perhaps campaining a Triumph Spitfire or a small type sedan.
What car(s) do you own?
1. 1948 Dodge Pick Up (highly Modified)
2.1970 Ford Ranchero (slightly modified)
3. 1958 Morris Minor (very highly modified/v8 powered salon type road racing car, 40 inches tall with a full cage and racing suspension.
4. 1965 Ford Pick Up (highly modified)
5. 1970's style c-cab street rod (completely built from scratch and not yet completed)
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
I like to design and build cars as well as race them.
What clubs do you belong to?
none at present
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
Get my SCCA license renewed and go SCCA racing as well as vintage racing
