Thank you so much for that - that is indeed my father's. It initially had a split wing - then returned to a conventional one. I think (from memory) that looks like Bishopscourt - .
I was away in December, but I believe the meeting at Kirkistown didn't happen.
I could well still be here at the end of March - (depends on work) - and if I am - will head to Kirkistown.
Someone mentioned online there 4 x 22F's - and I could only think of three - so I'm curious now.
To my mind there was my Dads' (blue) - a green one driven by Ken Fildes - and I think a red one driven by John L'Amie.
Anyway, maybe see you in March - we can ask around !
Very best wishes
and thank you again for the pic - it will be my screensaver!
If you contact me I may be able to help you with your query about your Dad, Desmond's 22F. My late brother Ian was mechanic on the car when it was driven by Brian Nelson.
Good to hear from you! I bought 22F-73-04 from Terry Murphy in 2006. Terry "mislaid" the history of the car, so any light you can shed on this or the other three 22F chassis will be very welcome.
I hope to be at Kirkistown on 28 December and would like to meet you if you're around!
Spaciba to you too,
Paul

Not sure if you've seen the attached photo of what is, I believe, your father's car. This was sent to me as part of my own research on the 22F.
I plan to race (another car) at Kirkistown at the end of March. Any chance you'll be there?
Regards,
Paul
