ATTENTION ALL NOSTALGIA DRAG RACING FANS!!!
Our club likes to go drag racing, and to teach high school youths how to engineer and build nostalgia drag cars and hot rods under our (Junior Flywheelers) program. We also enjoy helping out at car shows & Swapmeets.
We have belonged to the Gopher State Timing Association (GSTA) since 1956 and have worked at many of its shows and other association sponsored events.
Our club is predominately a drag racing club that competes at tracks in our local 5 state area of Minnesota. Our members have drag raced in Canada and all over the USA. Our club has had many different types of cars; funny cars, dragsters, altered’s, door cars both bracket & legal class. As of late we have moved into the Nostalgia craze with quite a few hard running gassers ranging from the mid 8 to mid 10 second zone.
We are a structured club with officers, rules, a code of ethics and dress code.
The FLYWHEELERS CAR CLUB is a chemically free club comprised of professional showmen and talented craftsmen.
