About Me:: Life-long car enthusiast and became enthralled with the Jaguar marque as a school-boy in the 1950s when C-types and D-types were winning everything in sight.

Over the years, my own Jaguars have ranged from Mark VIIs to Mark 2s; from E-types to XJS and a lengthy run of XJ saloons plus two V12 XJ Coupes.

Began collecting Jaguar automobilia at the same time, but that faded in my teens as my interest shifted to those hitherto tedious creatures - girls!

Came back to that aspect of the hobby seriously in my late 20s and went on to build one of the largest collections of Jaguar automobilia in the world.

My collection formed the basis of my book "Jaguar Collectibles" which remains the hobby bible.

Since then, I have moved to the other side of the table and now run an anual silent auction for Jaguar automobilia.

What car(s) do you own?: 1986 Jaguar V12 XJ saloon
1989 Volvo V70 estate (luggage van for the automobilia business)
1990 Peugeot 205 1.9 gti (still one of the best cars for a fun drive along a challenging country road)

What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?: After a goodly blast through the countryside, sitting with old friends and fellow enthusiasts in a good English country pub eating well and talking cars, drivers and motorsports until we get thrown out at closing time.

What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?: Watching classic racing at classic race tracks.
