Hi all, in the middle to late 1950's the Jensen 541 was raced in the British saloon car racing series.I am desperately looking for period pictures of the Jensen 541 in action. Can anyone help?T I AContinue
Smiths-Veglia sold a grey C-V8 recenly. Also a fantastic automobile but I preferred the 541! I am very curious seeing your car in due time. When do you bring it over? I can imagine you have other things on your mind in the south of France, haute cuisine in cosey restaurants, sun, beach and open cars ;-) I presume!
Han, that is a very nice coincidence! Are you selling your car thru Lex Classics? Well then I am the person driving and photographing your car! The red 451 was sold thru my website www.ClassicarGarage.nl Lex Classics is partner within our group of Dutch quality garages.
Han, here's the 541 I had the joy of driving around for an hour! Photo reportage with engine sounds!
It must have been an enormous job to restore your 541, the dark blue colour lights up the body curves beautifully!
Hello Han! Are you from the Netherlands (Dutch registration plates) and is the dark blue Jensen yours? I drove a 541 de Luxe and a C-V8 once. I especially liked the 541 with the enormous six cylinder engine. Tremendous sound and tons of character!
