Born and raised in Switzerland a few years ago, moved to America in the early 80s, got happily married, lived in Dallas, Rome and L.A. with my wife and four children, produced a couple of films and a bunch of commercial and music videos, and now created a brand named Global Peace Factory to sell and promote peace. Always loved anything that has wheels. It started with my stroller, I had my dad upgrade its suspensions and tires. At some point I also had the nanny fired, way too slow down the hill. Then came the pedal cars, bicycles, mopeds, then finally, my first car, a Beetle, which lasted exactly three weeks before I flipped it. I won't brag about the following three years, only to say I became a close friend of Max, a body shop owner. During that time, I took two courses at the Nurburgring Norschleife. Amazing. I also spent a lot of time in the snow with my buddies, drifting for hours in the deserted Swiss forest roads. But then from the moment I started to work until early this year, I drove nothing but station wagons and S.U.V.s. No time or justification for a sports car, less any form of vintage. But this year, I bought a brand new Porsche, took a few courses, went on the track quite a few times, and discovered I can still drive a bit. I want to start racing next year. What, don't know yet. So why am I writing all this? Because of Stephen Page, the head of this organization, is a friend of mine, and who knows, I might soon be at the wheel of a Porsche 917, a Mercedes 300 SLR, or a 2 CV Citroen.
What car(s) do you own?
Porsche Carrera S
Bentley Brooklands
Pickup truck, Ford, I think
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Don't know yet, I need to attend some events and begin to have a clear idea of how that works. So as it is, I am 100% open.
What clubs do you belong to?
PCA Mav (TX Porsche)
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
Again, I need to understand why I would want more to race a vintage car, then a current one. But I am going to focus on it.
Location
5000 Seneca Drive
