Vintage (HSR) participant since 1991. Former Firehawk participant. Former PCA region president, competitive chairman and race chariman. Owner of numerous Porsche 914's, 911S's, 911ST's and 911 & 996RSR's; Peerless Camaro IMSA GTO car from 1986 and Brooks Racing Thunderbird "Big Bird" from same era. Own my own personal restoration and race prep shop in west-central Florida. Greatly enjoy historic racing and the people associated with the sport.
What car(s) do you own?
Currently own: 1967 Porsche 911S race car, 1972 Porsche 911T rally car, 1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC, 1953 Riley (yes, a Riley) 2.5L RM Saloon, 1992 Spec Miata (cheap track time fun) and 1997 Porsche Boxster (the orignal silver over Boxster red version).
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
Both my wife and I love being at the track; primarily with our many HSR friends. When not at the track I spend most of my off time in my shop either preping race cars or working on restoration projects. We own a small ranch with cattle so that occupies a great deal of our time as well.
What clubs do you belong to?
Porsche Club of America, SCCA and Historic Sportscar Racing which I consider a club of sorts.
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
See above.
