NART Ferrari 365 GTB/4 at Sebring 1972

The NART Ferrari 365 GTB/4 (#14885) that Luigi Chinetti, Jr. and Bob Grossman drove to 8th overall at Sebring in 1972. The photo was taken as the car entered the long North-South runway on the back part of the 5.2 mile Sebring circuit. It was quite remote out there and an excellent place to get close to the cars without being hassled by anyone. The Dave Heinz 7-liter Rebel Corvette would beat this 4.4 liter Ferrari for the class (GT+2.5) win.
