Dan where did you find this picture? Love the 64 El Camino in the background. I have one just like it in white that we use to tow the Alan Green Cheetah with.

This was probably the most "stock" Cheetah racing. Notice the 7 inch wheels all around. It was driven in this race, LA Times GP, by Mike Jones who also drove a road race Corvair for Bill Thomas. I drove this same car in February 1965 at Willow Springs.
