Mike Hiss drove this Lola T-140 in SCCA's Continental Championship in '69, this photo taken at Elkhart Lake. High wings had not yet been banned and he had different headers on the car than when I had it. He also did not use the frame tubes for radiator coolant as I did. I just had some vinyl pads made to insulate me from the heat. I think Mike's way was better. He went on to drive Indy cars for Penske in the 70s.
