Chassis No. 2527 one of the 1957 works cars designated a "Tipo 2" completed in December of 1956. Chassis No.2527,2528 and 2529 are often referred to as "the lightweight cars" built to the pattern of earlier cars but with smaller gauge tubing. Chassis No. 2527 was first driven by Juan Fangio in the January 1957 Grand prix of de la Republica Argentina, Buenos Aires to first place.
