This is my Elva MkIII Sports Racer 100/65 as raced in 1961 - 1964 by Lewis Flink on the East Coast. The Coventry Climax FWA 1100cc Engine was removed and a Alfa Romeo 1500cc DOHC Race Engine Installed, which was a popular conversion. The Alloy Body was modified with an increased air slot at the leading edge above the radiator inlet and a speed bump on the hood area for suspected clearance with engine cam cover. This conversion was suspected to made by Jimmy Diaz who repaired alloy bodies in the South Jersey area. This car may have been jointly owned by Otto Linton & Lewis Flink. If anyone has information on this cars history before this time please contact StanBMason@AOL.com, which will be appreciated and rewarded.
