The Classic Targa Adelaide was run for the first time from September 14-17 near the South Australian capital of Adelaide.
Organised by Octagon Events, responsible for the long-running Targa Tasmania, the event takes over from the Classic Adelaide, last run in 2009 before the closure of Silverstone Events.
The inaugural Classic Targa Adelaide was won by the Porsche 911 Carrera of Kevin Weeks/Toni Feaver, ahead of the similar cars of Matt Selley/Claire Ryan and Tolley Challis/Greg Flood.
Tony Quinn/Adam Tillett held down second place outright for most of the event, until blowing a turbo on the final stage in their Nissan GTR.
