Kennth McAlpine owned ex- Price Bira ex Whitney Strait Maserati 3011 on which Arthur Cottrell worked on at Brooklands where he installed the Wilson pre-selector gearbox and also worked on when McAlpine had it when Arthur worked for Connaught and McAlpine was a major shareholder in Connaught
