This is the 1970 Le Mans winning 917 - first overall win at the great race. This was taken at the Brian Redman Double 50 at the Glen. I have the original factory poster in my office. 

 

On this day, it only ran a few laps and then developed mechanical problems (witness the smoke out the back). The lesson is clear - shoot early and often for the important cars!
