I was one of the journalist drivers invited to participate in an attempt to break several world speed records in stock Saab 900s at Talladega Speeday in Alabama. My name was added to the FIA record books as one of the 12 drivers who set a 12-hour record in a 900 2.5 liter V6 at an average speed of 139.231 mph. I also set the individual fast lap in that car at 147.063 mph.
