I have only jus spotted the message you left for me on Feb 4 - my apologies for not noticing this earlier! You asked about the chassis number of my McLaren M8C/D - this is M8C/70/06. It was owned first by Trojan (who built all the customer Can-Am McLarens), who tried running it with a Toyota V8. They sold it to Gordon Dewar, who entered 5 Can-Am races in 1972. The car was then idle until bought in 1989 by Don Shead (still wearing the decals from its lst race in 1972). Don raced it in the UK for several years before selling it to Richard Eyre, who also raced it in the UK and Europe for several years. I bought it from Richard about 5 years ago and have raced it fairly regularly since then. Let me know if you need any more information.
Yes, I'll be at Maryhill. Really looking forward to being there again. Such a cool event. Hopefully the car will be working well. Had a great run on every day of the Columbia River Classic in Portland.
