Profile Information:

About Me:
Married to a very supportive wife, have two amazing daughters and been obsessed with race cars since I first saw D type Jag (it was a model kit and I was 10).

Own a small specialty auto shop, build from the ground up Ford GT40 replicas, in-house design, fabrication and installation of really cool parts.
What car(s) do you own?
CAV GT40 with Ford 347 V8, 48IDA Webers of course and sensibly speed limited to 196mph! That's a great car.

The family hauler and parts chaser are both Dodge Caravans and a Neon for our eldest daughter, 5sp - that's my girl.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
With the advent of continuation or essentially new production of historically signifigant and fabulously expensive race cars, I'm excited to work with any individuals or groups to further access to, static display of and track use of these brand new old cars.

It's entirely appropriate that brutally functional works of art like the D Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lola T70, any McLaren, Ford GT40, Chaparal, Porsche(s) to name a few be further imortalised with extreme high quality recreations.

It's also a way to bring more big bore cars forward, there's lot's of great cars from the Can Am era that are no longer with us or too valuable to race.
What clubs do you belong to?
Currently or have supported CASC, BARC, VARAC and LASC. All are Canadian organizations, CASC being the FIA ASN.
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I raced Formula Ford when Lola 540 was current, some things stay with you. I would enjoy some seat time in more current formula cars. As for racing, I'd seriously look at seasoned drivers for a car entered in major events.
