About Me:
I have been an avid race fan since I was very young. My first job was at Autobooks, working for Harry Morrow in 1968. I am an economist with a degree from UCSB. I have been a pro musician and am currently a municipal bond trader. I live in Santa Monica, CA I have been vintage racing since 1994. I was fortunate to win the VARA Formula Ford Championship in 2001. Late in 2006 I was strcken with leukemia. It has been a long battle, but I am surviving and will come back in 2009.
What car(s) do you own?
A 1963 Elva Courier. It s the only Courier that has run the LeMans time trials and has been in the Monterey Historics 7 times.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
I primarily race with HMSA. & Gen'l Racing Ltd.
What clubs do you belong to?
HMSA & GRL, I no longer belong to VARA, but I race where I can when I am able. I prefer HMSA & GRL.
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
I was chief instructor for VARA in 2002 & '03. I have been a teacher HSR-West. If I am not racing I love teaching.
