About Me:
Farther was a Packard than Chrysler Engineer. Step Dad's family owned Scrap yards, gas stations and auto parts stores with machine shops. I began building model cars at the age of 4. Than graduated to working on real ones at the age of 10. Spent summer time in the fifty's at my grand parents summer home on a lake out side Detroit. In 1958 I began to hear cars racing on a new track called Waterford Hills. I would go and watch the cars races. Began street racing in Detroit, on Woodward Ave and Thursday nights on Northestern Hwy at age 16. After graduating professional school I sold may '76 Trans Am 455 and got into puting Junk together again. Started with a '68 GTO convert. I joined a GTO club to get more info. Found I had more connection and knowledge then they did. I was voted president, without my consent or knowlege, after I brought them discounts and a GTO Show at Domino's Farms. After three years as presenident, Jim Wangers suggested I start a Pontiac Drag Racing club. Which I and a few others did. The Royal Pontiac Club of America. I became active in automotive focus groups. Sold Steel to GM in Shang Hi China for their proto type Buick. I have been quoted in different automotive magazine and local news papers and appeared in A&E History Chanel's "History Of The Pontiac Firebird," and on "Hot Rod TV" in the segment of the "History of the Pontiac GTO." Both my GTO and Firebird have also been in magazines. I have been involved in automotive product ride and drive and focus groups.Took a class with Track Time Driving school on road racing at the MIS road course. It was a blast. Too bad MIS no longer uses the infield course any more. I do enjoy my daily communtes to work with my Corvette Z06 in the summer.
