I owned a Lola MK1 in the early 1970's. Sold it before completion for 350 dollars! It had been wrecked but was not that bad. My inexperience in fabrication and zero money doomed that project. I would like to see photos of your car. Do you know its history? Thiose wheels were magnesium. So are the rear uprights.
The MK1 I had owned in the early 1970's was purchased from an SCCA member in New Jersey USA after he crashed it. I sold it to a collector also from New Jersey. It had a modified front body section. Flared fenders with a "lip" added. Chaparel looking. It was missing one "pontoon" as that was destroyed when the car was crashed. It had been modified to accept an Alfa Romeo 4 cyl twin cam and 5 speed transmission. The purchaser did not want the tranny. The engine had not been included with the car. I would love to see it now!
