Hi Allen
My BT16 is chassis No.4 (ex.Trevor Taylor) F2.
I own a HSCC original ID document that was signed by Mr. Simon Hadfield.
And my BT is almost original car except the engine.

You asked some time ago if I am the John Grant who used to race a Chevron B19 in Orwell Supersports - sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Yes indeed, this was me! I acquired the B19 in 2000 from Stephen Gibson, raced it for 5 years and sold it to Chris Roche in January 2005. Although the car's history was not supported by much documentation, it had chassis number 12 and was reputedly one of two cars sold new to Jo Siffert in 1970.
It served me very well, and I had many good results. I was runner up in the International Supersports Championship in 2000, won this championship in 2001 and then won the Orwell Supersports championship in 2002.
My BT16 is chassis number 4 (EX.TREVOR TAYLOR) with signed Sir Jack Brabham. This converted lotus twincam engine in 1966 HSCC ID log ,and was totally restored by Mr. Simon Hadfield at 1985.
And then it was bought to North America ower who changed it to Kent engine.
About 12 years ago,my friend bought it from him.
Last year , I bought it form my friend ,and now it is restoring with lotus twincam.

Boy, do I wish I once owned that car! I see now that another Stephen Gibson owned one - good luck finding him!
Cheers.
