I have been racing all my life and that's getting to be a long time now! Began with karts and raced them until I was old enough to run a Formula Ford in SCCA. During the 70s, I ran a variety of open wheel cars including FSV and F/5000. Made my living from racing as an engineer from 1980 working for many top level teams which won several championships. Started driving again in 2006 in another Formula Ford (All I can handle now!) I still do a great deal of engineering for pro and amateur teams, driver coaching for up-and-comers and have a shop in Dallas where we prep cars from FF to Indy cars. We currently have 6 Indy cars in the shop and you can see photos of them at http://metcalfracing.com/live_pages/IndyCars.php

What car(s) do you own?
The answer to this question varies from time to time so you should visit metcalfracing.com to find out.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?
If I ever get back any of the driving ability I once thought I had........ I would like to have another F/5000 car for vintage events. Maybe a Lola T332?
What clubs do you belong to?
CVAR, SCCA
What would you like to do (e.g. go to race school; get into Vintage Racing)?
After having had great success with the Infinity Pro Series in IRL I would like to form a new team to run Indy cars. We have the talent, much of the equipment, the connections, etc. All we lack is the funding. Anyone out there interested in being an IRL team owner?

Yes sir it is a MK 29. I bought the car from a club member named Robert Gutkowski. I have really enjoyed being part of CVAR. Everyone seems to be extremely good people. Looking foreward to seeing everyone in Feb.- Mark
Good Morning Robert! Yes, I joined over the past weekend when I received a message from Lord Page. And Yes, I am going to be moving to England in February. Would love to chat with you about it if you have a chance. Cheers MJ
Robert,
I will be nice to get to know you. Currently, I am having some legal problems with an ex-partner who embezzled some money and stole some other things from me.
I may be looking to get rid of a lot of equipment soon too.
You might be able to help me now. Would you have a "school car" for CVAR later this month?
Robert,
I decided to skip the CVAR school and try later for my SVRA license. My delay in responding was that I had trouble opening two of your messages yesterday

Les
