About Me:
I am a reportage artist and illustrator who draws and paints on location. My work focuses on many different and varied subjects and I enjoy putting myself in environments that are usually only documented by photographers.

Previous projects have included stints aboard HMS Cornwall and HMS Illustrious with the Royal Navy, where I documented scenes from a military life at sea which resulted in two solo exhibitions and commissions from the MoD. Since graduating from The Royal College of Art in 2003 I have had my work published in many magazines and exhibited in various group and solo shows. My work has taken me backstage at London Fashion Week, to the Cartier polo in St.Moritz and Dubai and most recently onto the Classic Car race track. In the last 18 months I have travelled around Europe painting at Monaco, Monza, Dijon, Silverstone, Goodwood, the Nurburgring, Paul Ricard and Spa, not only depicting the cars, but the people involved with racing.

In July 2009 I opened my own art gallery in Port Isaac (North Cornwall) called The Peapod. I have begun to document village life and local scenes. I paint with ink on paper and my style varies between black and white line drawings to fully coloured paintings.
Location
The Peapod Gallery, 26 New Road
