FYI - I'm the co-founder of The Vintage Racing League.
I owned and raced a 1975 Crossle Formula Ford. I currently own and race a 1980 March Formula Atlantic and intend to rebuild and race a 1977 Shadow DN8 F1 car.
I race with CVAR in the Southwest.
I live in Dallas.
VRL Factoids:
An estimated 4 million people in the USA own Vintage, Historic, Classic and Antique cars (10 million world-wide).
The USA is home to 79 million Baby Boomers. Every day, 50,000 retire.
There are 27 Vintage Race Clubs in the US that stage an estimated 170 events per year.
Today, approximately 30,000 members in the 27 Clubs race Vintage cars.
We want to get more people into Vintage racing and a primary purpose of this site is dedicated to that goal.
Even if people do not race, they are welcome to attend events and learn more about the compelling nature of motorsports and it's history..

What car(s) do you own?: 1977 Shadow F1 DN8 (in restoration), 1980 March Formula Atlantic, my first car - a 1954 Jensen Interceptor, 1981 Kougar Sports Car, MB ML 500, MB 500S. Previously owned and raced a 1975 Crossle Formula Ford.
What do you like to do (e.g. vintage race with...)?: Race with CVAR in the Southwest.
Attend as many Vintage, Historic and Concours events as possible each year, to include the Monterey Historics, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and the Goodwood Revival.

I have a question.
I do not find the logo of the United States Auto Club.
From the years 70 - 80.
This is a shield with 2 flags and with the words United States Auto Club.
Not the USAC logo!
Do you know where I this can find?

I am delighted you have setup a place for vintage racers to hang out in (we need the support group). I will be adding lots of video and pics as soon as I get them organized.

The Jag festival is a fantastic event that draws people from as far away as Pittsburgh and Canada. We expect about 100 cars.

Good luck on the DN8. I loved my DN11, but sold it to buy an Alfa 179B F1. Big mistake. I know Don Nichols pretty well, and he has lots of parts, so if you need an intro let me know.

How is everything. I did speak to Joe the other night about adding Bondurant to our site. I have run into a couple of snags with editing the front login section. I am going to have to redesign the layout because currently the login page is not designed to handle a large table layout. What we might have to do is build a separate page to handle those side items.

Got a new Easter egg for you. I have just released MyVRL's new Advanced Member search based on user profile questions. Go to the members page and at the top next to search you will see "Advanced Search" Here you can type in any data you want and our database will display the results. One of the most dynamic search features for a social network. Merry Christmas!

I would appreciate you and anyone else coming out and listing your cars for sale. I hope to have it running in next 2 weeks. I don't own a classic car (young father of 3), but I have a deep appreciation for them... I also help folks sell their cars on my site. Initially i thought you hosted the ff site, sorry about that. The Elden is owned by my chum Prof Monson in New York and I will probably race it to see if I can get up Amanda Whitticker's exhaust pipe, unless of course it sells. It had a complete rebuild and new Bold engine last year. What do you think its worth here in the UK?
