Team Shadow Racing Performance Record

Seven years competition in FIA International Gp. 7 (Unlimited Displacement Sport Racing Cars).

  (Manufacture and race participation with 7 Shadow Gp. 7 car models from 1970 through 1974.

Eight years in FIA International Formula One (3 Litre Grand Prix Racing Cars)

  (Manufacture & race participation with 12 Shadow F1 car models from 1973 through 1980.

Two years participation in FIA International GP 5000 (5 Litre Displacement Racing Cars)

 (Manufacture and race participation with 2 Shadow F-5000 car models in 1975 and 1976.

Team Shadow achieved Event Winning Performances and Fastest Qualifying Laps in all these

Series,  and won the 1974 Canadian American Challenge Cup Series, the Brands Hatch Race

of Champions in 1975, and the 1976 Labatt’s 200 World Sports Car Championship race, in

all events with cars of its own manufacture, development, maintenance, and field operation.

Of the 4 or 5 United States teams which have participated with cars of their own manufacture

in the highest top level international racing series such as those listed above, Team Shadow has

recorded a performance record approximately equal to the efforts of all the others combined!
