A tentative schedule of events is as follows for the MG guys...

A Wednesday, or Thursday arrival is suggested to enjoy the full benefit of your event schedule.
Thursday evening get together at the Martine Inn in Pacific Grove. Don Martine invites all MGVRs to join him for dinner at a cost of ? each. Time to be determined. A tour of Don’s Motorsports MG Museum to follow. A reminder that there are rooms available at the Martine Inn for those looking for a place to stay while on the West coast. More info www.martineinn.com
Thursday and Friday at Laguna Seca for Champ Car test and tune (?) free of charge.
Friday late PM arrive at track for HMSA sponsored Welcome to Laguna party, followed by informal gathering for dinner at Baja Cantina Restaurant (http://www.bajacantinavenice.com ) or restaurant of your choice. Baja Cantina comes highly recommended for their great food and one of the best collections of automobilia and related stuff (they've got an original Ariel Motorcycle, as well as a Miller engine mounted over the bar) outside of a museum. (thanks, Gary)
Saturday Dinner at Buzzard’s Backyard BBQ at headquarters hotel (Monterey Bay Travelodge) Dinner cost yet to be determined.
Event chair Jim Weissenborn has secured garage space for at least (?) cars.
I need addresses for those on the attached list whose addresses are missing. Anyone not on the list who is still on the fence should also provide address, phone and email. You will receive a tourist handbook from Monterey Bay Visitor’s Bureau shortly.
VIP Transport (www.viptransportinc.com , 888-428-5847) has reconfirmed a round trip transportation cost of $2000 full truck rate (six MGs) from East coast to west coast and return. Similar rates for Midwest (Chicago area) are in the works. They will do single cars as well. For more information, contact Alex at VIP.
Whose coming? Don Martine and his von Neumann Special (raced at first Pebble Beach race in 1950(?), Ken Miles Flying Shingle R1(?), and possibly R2, and possibly Jeff Bucknum, CART racer, former ALMS champion, and son of famous West Coast MG racer Ronnie Bucknum.

Scott,
That is a fun poster. Hope they will be available at the event. Thanks to you, Jim Weisenborn and Chris Vandegriff for what looks to be an awsome event at an awsome venue.
Hi Mr Hayworth - Thank you for your kind words. We now have 56 MGs and expecting more. See you in March.
